Payments & Refunds Policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

1. Payments

Payments in IBERIS are processed by licensed third-party providers, such as Stripe for card and Apple Pay payments and our banking partners for transfers. IBERIS itself is not a bank or licensed payment institution.

IBERIS does not guarantee that any payment method is or remains available. Legal and regulatory requirements (including anti-money-laundering rules, sanctions screening and identity verification) may delay, restrict or decline a payment.

2. Deposits

You can add money by bank transfer (typically credited within 1–2 business days) or instantly by card or Apple Pay, where available. Deposits are credited only after the provider confirms the payment; the amount shown on the confirmation screen is what is credited. Top-up limits shown in the app apply.

3. User-to-user transfers

You can send money from your available balance to other users. Always confirm the recipient before paying: once completed, a transfer to another user cannot be reversed by IBERIS, because the funds belong to the recipient. If you paid in error or were defrauded, contact support immediately — recovery is possible only in limited cases and is not guaranteed.

4. Withdrawals

You can withdraw your available balance to a bank account in your own verified name. Withdrawals are executed by our banking provider and typically arrive within 1–2 business days; arrival times are not guaranteed and depend on the receiving bank. New bank accounts and verification checks may delay the first withdrawal.

5. Fees

Indicative fees: user-to-user transfers free; card top-ups carry a percentage fee; withdrawals carry a fixed fee (higher for instant withdrawals, where offered). The fee shown on the confirmation screen applies to that transaction; we give reasonable notice of changes.

6. Refund eligibility

If a deposit or withdrawal fails or is declined, no balance change is recorded, and any captured funds are automatically returned to their source — card deposits to the card, transfers to the sending account. Fees for failed transactions are refunded with them.

Completed user-to-user transfers are not refundable except in exceptional cases (for example confirmed fraud), and depend on the availability of the funds.

7. Card-payment disputes and chargebacks

Card chargebacks are handled by your card issuer under card-network rules. A successful chargeback reverses the related balance in the app; if the funds were already forwarded, your balance may become negative and you must repay it.

8. Failed, reversed or cancelled transactions

No money moves when a payment cannot be completed. Returns depend on the provider and your bank and typically take several business days. You can follow each payment's status in your transaction history.

9. Fraudulent or unauthorised transactions

Report suspected unauthorised or fraudulent transactions to support immediately. We investigate such reports and restore funds where the law requires it. You may also need to report card payments to your card issuer.

10. Processing times

Payments remain pending until the provider confirms them — a transaction is never treated as complete just because the app shows a success screen. Processing times shown in the app are estimates and depend on our providers and the banks involved.

11. Contact and support

Questions about a payment: contact support via the in-app Help & support section, or IBERIS BV at support@iberis.app.
